Minerva-Melponeni Malliori

Catherine MouryMinerva-Melponeni Malliori is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Athens. During her career she represented Greece in numerous groups of experts, such as the European Community for Drug Addiction, the European Community Health Group, the Pompidou Group of the Council of Europe-Permanent Correspodance, as well as in various bodies such as the Management Board of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).


She has been President of the Greek Organization Against Drugs (OKANA) and Member of the European Parliament (1999–2004) where she was a permanent member of the Environment – Public Health and Consumers Protection Committee. She has published numerous scientific publications in international and Greek medical journals and books and conducted various research programs organised by WHO, the Council of Europe, the EU and the EMCDDA.
